Today Mary took me on a really long walk in the afternoon by accident! <LOL> She took me up a big hill past where I had been before, then over to a very busy street. We crossed it and went to a little park where Mary looked confused. It was closed for maintenance, and it was a field for sports. It was all grass, and I wanted to go running, but Mary said no.

Instead, we walked down the hill to the other park that we went to before. This one has grass and trees and a paved path so I don’t have to walk on the grass. I am a suburban doggie, after all! By this point, I was quite hot and Mary made me lie down in the shade. I was very good at listening, because I stayed down even when I saw a bunnie near the bushes and I really wanted to run after it… See, I’m a good boy!

Afterwards, I was very hungry and tired. I didn’t mind that I only had plain kibble for dinner.
