I let Mary sleep in this morning because she looked so tired last night. I checked up on her every now and then; just doing my job! We finally got to go for a mid-morning walk, but it was short. I didn’t mind, because I was hungry anyway, but after breakfast  I was relaxing by the kitchen when she asked if I wanted to go for a drive. Of course! Well, whatever she bought kept her busy when we got home, because Mary was in the kitchen doing something with a lot of fruit. I was not interested and relaxed on the patio.

For my dinner, I sat waiting expectantly in front of my kibble when it was put in front of me, hoping that something extra would be added to it. This doesn’t work well… Must try new approach tomorrow… Then, Mary looked like she was going out again for another drive so _this_ time I made sure to take up as much room as possible by the front door so I would be ready to go at a moment’s notice… This time I had to stay home, though. Oh well. Next time!
